I would just like to say what a brilliant time my partner and I had at Rowton Castle on Monday 27 November. It was a surprise for my partner's birthday and both he and I were absolutely blown away by the Alberbury Suite!
Similarly, the food in your restaurant was the best we had tasted for a very long time; impeccably presented and so tasty. I was extremely impressed that staff were aware we were both vegetarian; even though I booked over two months prior to our stay. A big thanks to Melissa for dealing with my endless e-mails before I actually booked! Also, a huge thanks for booking us onto the best table in the restaurant which was a lovely surprise for both myself and my partner.
The staff at Rowton Castle were professional, polite and immaculately dressed. Having a small team of dedicated staff makes a big difference when compared to hotel chains, where the staff don't seem to have the time or enthusiasm to help you.
Please pass on my thanks to everyone and I really hope I can make a return visit soon.

Last Monday, 13 March, my husband and I were guests at your hotel to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We write to thank you and all your staff for making it a truly memorable occasion for us.
As we ordered our dinner that evening I mentioned to Kate what we were celebrating and from then until the end of our two days with you we were made to fell "special". Our dinner was served in the Tower where we felt totally relaxed and at ease.
The food was superb, please congratulate the chef and his staff on a meal that will be remembered, and talked about, for a long time.
All your staff are a credit to you. Our room was immaculate, room service was excellent, waiting-on staff at both breakfast and dinner each day were people who cared about what they were doing. Your receptionist on the Tuesday was lovely, even remembering I had a small worry about my daughter who had been rushed to hospital.
Please extend out very special thanks to Kate who we will always remember for her care and kindness.
In conclusion we would be very grateful is you would forward your room tariff as we definitely intend returning.

Although many reviewers fear giving out too many five-star ratings, I would be making a mistake if I gave Rowton Castle four stars just to balance matters.
A big mistake.
Indeed, if there were a category for six stars, this place would pass the test with flying colours and with room to spare.
If nothing else, Rowton Castle sends out a message that it is on a par with some of the more decorated establishments down Ludlow way.
