A recent Rowton Castle wedding venue Bride & Groom very kindly took the time to write the following shropshire castle wedding review……
I write on behalf of myself, my new husband and both of our families who wish to express our extreme gratitude to all at Rowton Castle involved in our special wedding day in May 2010.
It truly was perfect!
Rowton Castle was the first wedding venue we visited when deciding on a wedding location to marry and not one other wedding venue compared in any way not to mention in terms of ambience, professionalism, catering, the list goes on. We knew from the moment we booked our day that we would have no problems in this respect.
We cannot fault anything about the wedding day and cannot thank you all enough.
In particular, we would like to make special mention of Debbie for looking after us on the day, she was so friendly yet professional. In fact, the balance of professionalism yet comfort was just perfect.
Once again, thank you so much for everything, we would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone in the future looking for a wedding venue, and will be back to celebrate our anniversary in the future no doubt.

A recent guest at Rowton Castle Hotel gave the following review of the services on offer…….
“Our last UK stay was at a 5 Star London Landmark Hotel in a £670 a night Suite. Rowton Castle’s meals, service and ambience beat it Hands Down!!”

It is Rowton Castle reviews such as these that we are proud to receive. Our wish with any wedding day or birthday celebration is to make the occasion as memorable and special as possible…
What can we say; we will start with “Thank You” for allowing us to book Rowton Castle for our Exclusive Use Birthday Party!
We invited a broad group of people, special friends, relations and acquaintances from near and far, and we were all absolutely full of praise for Rowton Castle and its staff.
Thank you to Keith, Kate and their team of staff for what was exceptional service and attention to detail.
We especially thank Steve and his team for what was described by our guests as “Superb food, cooked to perfection”. I can assure you that a number of them are well travelled, and not easy to please!!
We would ask you to also pass on our thanks to the following:
Stuart Hay, the photographer, for his patience professionalism and good nature in capturing our special day on camera. The pictures are already available for us to view on his website, and are truly wonderful.
Naomi Payne and her musicians for the perfect balance of music, entertaining us throughout the day.
Pete & Lyn from Casinut. The provision of two casino tables certainly had the desired effect of entertaining our guests. The way they handled the “crowd” was superb and made the evening.
Also, to Will Tudor, the resident DJ for the evening disco. He kept us all dancing until the small hours, tempting almost everyone onto the dance floor at some stage during the evening; no mean feat with such a cross section of guests in attendance!
The day was always going to be special, but we thank you all for making it absolutely unforgettable.
